Ahh, so I'm sitting in the computer lab at my school right now, just chilling because I'm so burned out from the utter load of academic crap that has crammed into my head over the past two weeks.

I'm so excited for Thanksgiving and then the holidays! I want to make the 2009 Christmas season the best season yet. I really miss my love, all the way in Seattle, but I'm going to try to make these holidays good anyways. I'm planning on writing lots of Christmas short stories with friends, poking characters in holiday settings, partying some, writing a story or two to send into literary journals, applying for jobs all over the place, etc etc etc...

I heard that one of my new friends is having a Christmas party at her place, so that'll be fun. 8D I'm also hoping to host a New Year's party at my house.

My Mema is dying. I'm kind of sad, but I'm not upset at all. My Mom is freaking out because she's my Mom's grandmother. My Mema is 97 (I think... or at least very close) and I personally feel like she's lived a very full life and she's ready to go. She had a stroke and then refused to cooperate with the doctors, then had another stroke and hasn't woken since then. She has a living will that states not to give her artificial respiration or food (meaning no breathing machines or IVs), so it's only a matter of time. I'm mostly sad that this has to happen during the Thanksgiving break and during the final stretch of my school. I hope I don't miss too many classes, but I do really want to be at her funeral. She was a really great person.

So just fyi, if anyone didn't know, I've been sort of in a depression lately. After getting back from Oregon I was all right for a bit, but it's starting to wear on me. I'm REALLY grateful for my Ashley and the new amazing people I'm meeting through her. I hope it blunts the blow a bit. I just miss my best friend so much... I feel like such a dork for being so sad about it, but I am. I miss her so so so so much.

I'm hoping to graduate in the summer. Hopefully. If they offer the classes I need to take. Then hopefully I'll either move to Seattle or start on a second undergraduate degree, only this time in photography.

Anyways, so enough life ranting...

I'm super excited because I'm going to do a massive photography dump of doom over the next couple of days. It'll include:

-Caribbean vacation from 2007
-Random shots I took
-Photoshoots with my sister
-Oregon
-Morikami Gardens

It'll be pretty awesome. I haven't really looked much at the pictures I've taken, so I'm excited to see how much I've grown as a photographer since I started my futile attempts. XD
